List of Authorities for issuing Tubewell/ Borewell NOC

1. Central Ground Water Authority- CGWA

The Indian government created the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) in 1997 with the aim of controlling and overseeing the nation's ground water resources in order to maintain and safeguard them. The Authority is in charge of overseeing ground water development and management, and it has the authority to issue any required regulatory directives.

2. Haryana Water Resource Authority- HWRA

The Haryana Water Resources (Conservation, Regulation and Management) Act 2020 established the Haryana Water Resource Authority (HWRA). It is the Authority's responsibility to establish a sustainable water resources program from both short- and long-term viewpoints. The Authority is dedicated to the prudent, equitable, and efficient use of water resources and has authority over both surface and ground water in the state of Haryana.

3. Uttar Pradesh Ground Water Department- UPGWD

The primary goal of this department's establishment was to provide guidelines for the state's groundwater resources in terms of research, management, and planning. It also carried out groundwater study, assessment, planning, and development projects.
